Learn, Grow & Connect with a Community Peers
We understand how important community and connection are in bereavement work.
We've created a variety of opportunities to help you get plugged into the support you need.

Bereaved Parents Community Group
You are not alone.
If you’ve experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, we gently invite you to join our free Bereaved Parents Community Group. a monthly online gathering offering connection, compassion, and space to grieve.
Led by fellow loss parents and Haven Bereavement Doulas, Abby Jorgensen and Julie McKay, this group meets virtually each month to discuss a suggested theme, open conversation, and time to share resources.

Join Our (Virtual) Book Club*
Everyone is welcome to join in these warm, engaging discussions on books about grief.
In March, we discussed Lady Tan's Circle of Women and hosted author Lisa See.
In June, we will be discussing On Death and Dying.
And, in November, we will be discussing Still: A Memoir of Loss, Love, and Motherhood. We will be hosting author Emma Hansen for a private q&a on the final night of book club.
*Please note, Book club registration costs $15 each and does not include the book.

Haven Happy Hours
Most of our virtual happy hours are private gatherings for Haven doulas, but we also love opening the door from time to time with public happy hours for everyone to join.
